Head of Information Technology

About the role

The Head of Information Technology will shape and execute the technology strategy for a leading financial institution. This senior leader will oversee digital infrastructure, cybersecurity architecture, enterprise systems, automation, and AI‑enabled transformation across investment banking, commodity trading, structured finance, and other institutional operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Manage digital infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity architecture to ensure resilience and security.
• Lead implementation of enterprise productivity platforms, workflow automation, and AI‑enabled operational tools.
• Oversee data environment design, business continuity, disaster recovery, and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate technology vendors, software procurement, and enterprise architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with business units on capital markets, treasury, ERP, CRM, and digital collaboration solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise IT, financial technology, or digital infrastructure management.
• Strong background in financial services technology, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and systems administration.
• Proven track record implementing productivity platforms, automation systems, and AI‑driven tools.
• Deep understanding of information security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and governance.
• Experience managing technology vendors and leading digital transformation projects in financial institutions.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, AWS, Microsoft, Cisco) are advantageous.
