Head of Growth

About the role

The Head of Growth will lead Kenkeputa’s expansion across Africa and North America, shaping and executing a comprehensive growth strategy. This senior role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution to drive acquisition, activation, retention and revenue across multiple product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a global growth roadmap, balancing short‑term traction with long‑term platform scaling.
• Own the full funnel – acquisition, activation, retention, monetisation and expansion – and build a repeatable playbook for all products and regions.
• Lead brand and performance marketing, content, social, influencer and community initiatives to ensure consistent storytelling.
• Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with vendors, merchants, creators, payment, logistics and ecosystem partners.
• Develop and execute growth‑driven sales strategies for B2C, B2B and marketplace channels.
• Oversee AI‑driven product migrations, designing incentives and communications to minimise churn.
• Collaborate daily with engineering and operations leaders to translate growth insights into product priorities.
• Build and scale a high‑output growth team, establishing metrics, dashboards and accountability frameworks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience leading growth, marketing, partnership or revenue functions, preferably in consumer or marketplace products.
• Deep knowledge of African markets, especially Nigeria, with a data‑driven decision‑making mindset.
• Proven ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on execution levels.
• Strong communication, ownership and leadership capabilities.
