Head of Engineering

About the role

Escrow Tech is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead engineering operations across large‑scale technical facilities. The role combines strategic planning, hands‑on commissioning, and day‑to‑day management of a multidisciplinary engineering team. You will act as the primary technical liaison with technology partners and ensure continuous facility uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce engineering standards, maintenance procedures, and documentation.
• Lead all commissioning activities and validate infrastructure against documented criteria.
• Maintain facility uptime, manage maintenance schedules, and oversee equipment lifecycle and fault resolution.
• Coordinate technical integrations and upgrades with external technology partners.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep accurate asset registers.
• Provide technical leadership, risk escalation, and drive engineering strategy and service excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or related field.
• COREN registration or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience managing large‑scale industrial or data‑center facilities.
