Head of Business - Credit Products & Payments

About the role

CredPal is a financial technology company offering credit cards and investment solutions. It is looking for a Head of Business to lead growth in credit products such as loans and invoice financing, payment solutions and cross-border payments. The role drives revenue, expands market share and builds strategic partnerships, and suits a seasoned business leader with knowledge of payment processing, B2B financing and international transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies for growth in payments and for acquiring businesses to offer credit products.
• Identify and establish partnerships with banks, fintechs, merchants and global payment providers.
• Lead sales and business development to scale transaction volumes and revenue.
• Drive adoption of payment solutions by onboarding enterprises, SMEs and high-value customers.
• Oversee invoice financing strategies and optimize cross-border payment processes.
• Collaborate with product, compliance and risk teams, and monitor industry trends and regulations.
• Analyze market data and metrics, represent the company at industry events and network strategically.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales or strategy within fintech or financial services.
• Proven success in scaling financial products and driving revenue growth.
• Experience negotiating high-value partnerships with financial institutions and payment providers.
• Deep understanding of the regulatory frameworks governing payments and financing.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in payments, invoice financing and cross-border transactions.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, business intelligence software and Google Suite.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills, and strong analytical abilities.
