Head Architect

About the role

Casalavoro Limited is seeking an experienced and highly creative Head Architect to lead the architectural design direction of its major real estate and development projects in Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the architectural design process for major real estate and development projects.
• Develop innovative, functional, and visually outstanding architectural concepts and designs.
• Produce and review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, presentations, and design documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Construction, Quantity Surveyors, Site Engineers, Interior Designers, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with building regulations, planning requirements, codes and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• 8–12 years of relevant architectural experience, preferably in real estate, property development or construction.
• Professional registration with ARCON is highly preferred.
• Proven experience leading major architectural projects with a strong portfolio.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D Max, Lumion or similar architectural design and visualization software.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, building materials and relevant regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination and project management abilities.
