Growth Lead - Daily Fantasy Sports

About the role

A leading skill-based daily fantasy sports platform is hiring a Growth Lead in Lagos to own user acquisition, retention and revenue growth. The role suits someone who is creative and an out-of-the-box thinker, with a data-driven mindset and a strong understanding of performance marketing. It involves defining and optimizing the user funnel, leading experiments and working with product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute user acquisition strategies using paid ads, partnerships, influencer marketing and organic channels.
• Lead growth experiments to improve conversion rates, user activation and retention.
• Analyze marketing performance, track key growth metrics and iterate based on data insights.
• Own and optimize the full user funnel from acquisition to activation and retention.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve user experience and engagement.
• Implement referral and viral growth strategies to expand organic reach.
• Manage and optimize ad spend across Meta, TikTok and Twitter.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in fantasy sports, performance marketing and growth tactics.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing or a similar role.
• Experience running and optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns.
• Ability to run A/B tests and iterate based on data insights.
• Deep understanding of acquisition, activation and retention metrics.
• Strong passion for sports, especially football.
