Marketing Specialist

About the role

A technology-driven organization is hiring a full-time hybrid Marketing Specialist to drive brand visibility, audience engagement and lead generation for its programs, conferences and initiatives. The role suits someone with a background in digital marketing, PR, content marketing, social media management and campaign execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run integrated marketing campaigns to raise awareness, drive registrations and generate leads.
• Manage social media platforms, the content calendar and online community engagement.
• Plan and run email marketing campaigns, newsletters and audience-nurturing initiatives.
• Lead PR activities such as media engagement, press releases and brand communications.
• Manage customer touchpoints across digital channels for a seamless user experience.
• Track campaign performance, report results and optimise strategies based on data.
• Work with internal teams to create marketing content and promotional materials.
• Use CRM, marketing automation and analytics tools to improve campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Community and Marketing Officer to oversee visitor quality on the website and follow up with partner experts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, brand management or communications.
• Proven experience in lead generation, email marketing, PR, social media management and campaign execution.
• Experience marketing conferences, events, NGOs, technology companies or professional services is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing tools.
• Strong knowledge of SEO, content marketing, paid digital advertising and marketing analytics.
• Excellent copywriting, communication, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
