Graphic Designer & Proposal Design Assistant

About the role

A construction firm is looking for a creative, organized and detail-focused Graphic Designer and Proposal Design Assistant to support its branding, marketing and business development. You will create marketing collateral, company profiles and project presentations, format business proposals and tender documents, and present the company's services to potential clients. The role suits a recent graduate or someone with zero to two years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design promotional assets such as flyers, brochures, posters and banners highlighting construction services.
• Produce company profiles, capability statements and project portfolios for prospective clients.
• Support formatting of business proposals, tender submissions, quotations and presentation decks from data provided by leadership.
• Create presentation slides covering project history, capabilities, proposed solutions and services.
• Generate visual content for social media, the corporate website and digital marketing initiatives.
• Ensure brand consistency across documents, promotional items and presentations.
• Work with management and project teams to gather information and imagery for proposals.
• Review designs and documents for spelling, formatting, accuracy and consistency before submission.
• Manage digital archives of design templates, project photos and approved corporate documents.
• Update company profiles and marketing materials with newly completed projects.
• Meet deadlines, incorporate feedback and keep client data confidential.

Required profile

• Foundational understanding of graphic design principles and document formatting.
• Ability to produce clean, professional and visually attractive designs.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail and organization; ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio of previous design work preferred; interest in construction, real estate, architecture or business marketing is an advantage.
