General Manager, Sales

About the role

The General Manager, Sales leads the commercial function, shaping strategy and driving revenue growth across retail and fleet channels. Reporting directly to the Chairman, this senior leader ensures the organisation meets its sales targets while fostering strong cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly and monthly sales performance reports to the Chairman, highlighting market trends and strategic recommendations.
• Analyse sales data to identify improvement areas and growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sales, marketing and other departments to capture commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
• Oversee all sales activities, ensuring timely and efficient closure of retail and fleet sales.
• Set, monitor and enforce sales targets for the team, holding members accountable for results.
• Identify target accounts, develop acquisition strategies and execute sales and marketing plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in sales leadership within a multinational environment.
• Bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree or MBA in a relevant field.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading high‑pressure teams.
• Strong leadership, communication and influencing abilities.
