About the role
The General Manager will lead daily production, manufacturing and operational activities, ensuring targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are met. This senior position reports to senior management and drives continuous improvement across the plant.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily production, manufacturing, and operational activities.
- Manage operational budgets, production costs, inventory, and resource utilization.
- Lead departmental heads and drive employee productivity and accountability.
- Ensure efficient procurement, supply chain coordination, and inventory control.
- Implement process improvements to reduce waste, downtime, and operating costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor operational KPIs and submit periodic performance reports to management.
- Support business growth, profitability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum of a BSC qualification.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.
