General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will lead the hotel’s overall strategy, operations and financial performance, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue targets and profitability.
• Oversee day‑to‑day hotel operations, maintaining high standards of service and facility upkeep.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor financial results and implement cost‑optimisation measures.
• Lead recruitment, training, performance management and foster a positive work culture.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hospitality regulations and maintain operational licences.
• Build relationships with corporate clients, promote the brand and support marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial management and strategic planning.
