General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will lead the company's day‑to‑day operations, ensuring that business objectives are met efficiently and profitably. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution across multiple branches.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and direct overall business operations.
• Generate proposals or tenders in line with client specifications.
• Provide administrative support to senior executives and assist with special projects.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Assist in budget management, expense tracking and financial decision‑making.
• Liaise with team members across branches to achieve company goals.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Managing Director.
• Identify and grow new business opportunities for expansion.
• Ensure clarity of company goals and provide leadership to staff.

Required profile

• B.Sc/HND in Business Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar managerial role, supervising multiple levels of managers.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to make sound financial decisions.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Highly creative, innovative and detail‑oriented.
