Furniture Design Architect

About the role

We are seeking a creative Furniture Design Architect to join our Lagos team. You will be responsible for turning client concepts into detailed, manufacturable designs for wood joinery products, including bespoke furniture and cabinetry.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed designs and technical drawings for furniture, cabinetry, and custom wood pieces.
• Select appropriate materials and finishes based on client specifications and design intent.
• Collaborate with production to develop prototypes and ensure design feasibility.
• Utilize CAD tools—specifically V-ray, Blinder, and Revit—to produce and modify designs efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in furniture or product design, preferably within a wood joinery environment.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery methods.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Preference for candidates who have worked for reputable companies in the furniture sector.

What we offer

• Probation salary of ₦275,000 per month, increasing to ₦300,000 after confirmation.
