Fundraising & Capital Partnerships Officer

About the role

Babjan Gona is looking for a Fundraising & Capital Partnerships Officer to drive fundraising activities across debt, equity and grant financing. The role will manage the end‑to‑end capital‑raising process and build lasting relationships with investors and donors to support smallholder farmers in Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue funding opportunities across grants, debt and equity.
• Lead fundraising processes from opportunity identification to signed funding agreements.
• Prepare investment memoranda, grant proposals, financial models and other fundraising materials.
• Coordinate investor and donor due‑diligence activities.
• Maintain fundraising pipelines and nurture stakeholder relationships.
• Support investor reporting and capital mobilisation efforts.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in fundraising, finance, investment or stakeholder management.
• Proven experience managing grant applications or capital‑raising processes.
• Strong proposal writing, financial analysis and communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple fundraising processes simultaneously.
• Genuine interest in agricultural development and impact investing.
