ESG and Impact Manager

About the role

FairMoney is seeking an ESG and Impact Manager to lead its environmental and social initiatives across all business units. The role will ensure compliance with ESG regulations and drive sustainability programmes in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental and social initiatives, ensuring compliance with laws and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement and monitor a corporate‑level Environmental & Social Management System (ESMS) across all operational levels.
• Monitor ESG performance, publish periodic reports and prepare the annual sustainability report.
• Support HR and business leaders in implementing ESG policies, training and communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, International Politics, Business or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability or social responsibility, preferably with development finance institutions.
• Strong networking skills to liaise with shareholders and leadership.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with ESG compliance frameworks and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of fintech operations in emerging markets.
