Full-time Waiter / Waitress

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Tatafish Foods in Abuja. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean dining area.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and seat customers in a warm and professional manner.
• Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining excellent service standards.
• Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Ensure dining tables are clean, organized, and properly set before and after service.
• Process customer payments and issue receipts where required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Restock service stations and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Perform other duties assigned by the restaurant manager.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, fast‑food outlet, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, courteous, and well‑groomed appearance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic numeracy skills for handling bills and payments.

• Salary range: NGN 70,000 – 150,000 per month.
