Frontend Developer – Web & Mobile Apps (Lagos)

About the role

Polaris Digitech Limited, a leading Pan‑African location intelligence firm, is seeking skilled Frontend Developers to create and maintain its web and mobile applications in Lagos. You will transform UI/UX designs into responsive, high‑performance interfaces that support the company’s GIS‑based services across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web pages and interactive features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement UI/UX wireframes with React for web applications.
• Build native‑style mobile interfaces using React Native for Android and iOS.
• Write reusable code libraries and ensure fast reload times by optimizing assets.
• Validate user input and integrate front‑end components with RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with back‑end developers to troubleshoot issues and assist in architectural design.
• Maintain and upgrade existing web and mobile applications for scalability and performance.

Required profile

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with React (web) and React Native (mobile).
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration.
• Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Ability to work closely with back‑end teams and follow coding standards.
