Food and Beverage Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to lead our kitchen team at Jewels Leading Lights Academy in Abuja. The role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, creating innovative menus and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and train kitchen staff to consistently produce exceptional dishes.
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, plating and timely service.
• Develop and refresh menus, incorporating creative concepts and guest feedback.
• Manage inventory, ordering and cost‑control measures to maximise profitability.
• Coordinate special events, promotions and menu tastings with senior management.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders and discard expired items.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum OND qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in food preparation and kitchen management.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare sandwiches and parfaits.
