Grill Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Grill Specialist to prepare, season and grill meat, poultry and other proteins according to DMY Grill Delight's recipes and standards. The role involves operating and maintaining grilling equipment while ensuring high standards of food hygiene and timely order preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, season and grill meat, poultry and other proteins following company recipes.
• Operate and maintain grilling equipment safely.
• Ensure consistent taste, texture, portioning and presentation.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.
• Monitor stock levels of grilling ingredients and report shortages.
• Keep the grill area and equipment clean and organized.
• Work with the operations team to ensure orders are ready for dispatch on time.
• Assist with packaging and final order checks during busy periods.

Required profile

• Minimum of an OND qualification.
• Previous experience as a Griller, BBQ Chef, Grill Cook or similar role.
• Physically fit and comfortable working around heat and grilling equipment.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Based in Abuja and able to commute to Lugbe.
