Fleet Tracking Officer

About the role

The Fleet Tracking Officer will ensure real‑time visibility of all trucks dispatched by Nigeria Distilleries Limited, supporting efficient delivery across Nigeria. You will work closely with drivers, logistics teams and security to maintain seamless transport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all trucks in transit using GPS tracking and fleet‑management platforms, capturing location, speed, ETA and seal status.
• Maintain continuous communication with drivers, transport providers, warehouses, customer service and sales teams, updating them on delivery progress.
• Escalate and log any delays, breakdowns, accidents, security threats or unauthorized stops, and coordinate resolution with relevant parties.
• Verify compliance with approved routes, pre‑trip inspections, GIT insurance validity and safety protocols.
• Produce daily movement, KPI and depot operation reports, documenting deviations, detention times and delivery exceptions.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Accounting or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, fleet monitoring or transportation operations.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
