Finishes Supervisor – Construction Projects

About the role

The Finishes Supervisor will lead the execution of interior finishing activities on construction sites in Lagos. Reporting to the project manager, you will ensure that painting, tiling, flooring, glazing and related works are completed to the required quality, schedule and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades including painting, tiling, screeding, ceilings, joinery, flooring and glazing.
• Verify that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and resolve workmanship issues.
• Conduct routine site inspections and enforce health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare daily progress reports, maintain site documentation and track material usage.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects and other site personnel.
• Ensure client satisfaction and successful handover of completed finishes.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc. in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience supervising finishing works on construction projects.
• Strong understanding of finishing materials, methods and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
