Financial Planning and Reporting Associate

About the role

Eko Organic Food Industries Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning and Reporting Associate to join its finance team. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting, providing accurate insights that drive strategic decisions. It suits someone with strong technical accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills and the ability to explain financial results to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations, investigate variances and resolve reconciling items promptly
• Ensure timely recognition of invoices, liabilities, accruals, provisions, revenues and other transactions in line with applicable accounting standards
• Carry out periodic general ledger reviews and proofing to safeguard the accuracy of financial records and statements
• Maintain up-to-date schedules for loans, borrowings, accruals, provisions and other key balances
• Build financial models, compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts, and support financial planning decisions
• Support the Head of Finance with leave relief and other finance-related tasks

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field
• ICAN, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage
• Minimum 3 years' experience in financial accounting, reporting or management accounting
• Experience with ERP or accounting software
