About the role
WeLight Africa, a pioneer in rural electrification across Africa, is looking for a Financial Analyst to support its clean‑energy initiatives. The role will be based in Nigeria and will contribute to financial planning and analysis for projects that bring renewable electricity to millions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial reports and statements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial data to support decision‑making for renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial information.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience.
- Strong interest in renewable energy and rural electrification.
- Based in Nigeria and able to work onsite as needed.
