Financial Advisor

About the role

Leadway is seeking a full‑time Financial Advisor to work on‑site in Nigeria. You will meet individual and corporate clients, understand their financial goals and risk profiles, and recommend suitable insurance, pension, investment and other financial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present tailored financial plans to clients.
• Explain Leadway’s product portfolio and conduct basic market research.
• Maintain accurate client records and perform regular policy and portfolio reviews.
• Support business development through prospecting, networking and client education sessions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP or local equivalents are an advantage.
• Proven experience in financial services, insurance, banking or investment advisory.
• High ethical standards, client‑centric mindset and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Strong financial planning and advisory capabilities.
• Solid understanding of finance, investments, risk‑return principles and product features.
• Knowledge of retirement planning, pension products and wealth accumulation strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
