About the role
The Finance & Payments Officer is responsible for overseeing all financial transactions, revenue tracking, payment processing, and basic financial reporting within the organisation. This role sits at the heart of financial accountability, ensuring that income from advertising, subscriptions, partnerships, listings, and other commercial activities is accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported. Beyond transaction handling, the role supports management with clear financial insights that aid budgeting, forecasting, and decision‑making. The position also works closely with commercial, operations, and administrative teams to ensure smooth financial workflows and timely settlement of obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Process and reconcile all incoming and outgoing payments
- Manage invoices, receipts, and financial records
- Monitor cash flow and prepare basic financial summaries
- Liaise with banks and payment service providers
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls
