Finance & Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to lead financial strategy, operational excellence, and fundraising initiatives for Miri Africa, a climate‑innovation company driving sustainable growth across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, prepare annual budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow projections and management reports.
• Oversee accounting operations, financial controls, treasury, working‑capital management and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage day‑to‑day operational processes, vendor relationships, procurement and cross‑functional coordination to improve efficiency.
• Lead fundraising activities, prepare investor materials, build relationships with investors, sponsors and donors, and monitor funding utilization and reporting.
• Support executive leadership with strategic planning, KPI development, and participation in board and management meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in finance, operations, strategic management or related leadership roles.
• Proven experience in fundraising, investor relations or grant management.
• Experience in startups, media, technology, consulting or international organisations is an advantage.
