Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will support Addoz Integrated Resources Limited in managing its financial operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing and compliance with internal procedures. Based in the Marina district of Lagos, the role involves daily interaction with banks, vendors, and internal departments to maintain financial integrity. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the company’s financial health and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and balance accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Process payments and financial transactions accurately, ensuring timely settlement and proper documentation.
• Liaise with banks and other financial institutions to facilitate smooth transaction flows and address any issues.
• Maintain comprehensive financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing detailed financial reports and schedules for management review and external reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and internal controls, supporting audit activities as needed.

Required profile

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline.
• Possess 3–5 years of proven experience in a banking or accounts role, demonstrating a solid track record of financial stewardship.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of banking operations, payment processing, and related regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience using accounting software for transaction recording, reporting, and reconciliation.
