About the role
An established HR consulting firm seeks a detail‑oriented Account and Finance Officer to manage accounting operations, tax compliance, invoicing and general financial administration.
Key responsibilities
- Manage VAT, WHT, PAYE and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Create and manage client invoices using Zoho Books.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, monitor accounts receivable and handle bank reconciliations.
- Support monthly financial reporting, cash‑flow tracking and budgeting.
- Assist with payroll‑related accounting and statutory deductions.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance.
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax compliance (VAT, WHT, PAYE).
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality and ability to meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Practical exposure to Zoho Books or Zoho Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and bookkeeping.
- Understanding of VAT, WHT and PAYE regulations.
