Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead project finance, plant accounting, financial reporting and governance functions to ensure accurate financial management and operational efficiency. The role partners with engineering, procurement and manufacturing teams to provide insights that drive business growth and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project Capex tracker, review spending against budgets, provide variance analysis and prepare weekly finance dashboards.
• Own plant accounting activities, lead month‑end close, produce MIS reports and analyse manufacturing cost variances.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts, reconcile variances, and implement actions to improve working‑capital efficiency.
• Ensure timely capitalization of fixed assets, coordinate asset tagging, and manage asset transfers and disposals.
• Implement financial controls, support audit activities and ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority and procurement governance.

Required profile

• Experience in Greenfield/Brownfield project environments, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, agribusiness or industrial operations.
• 5–8 years of post‑qualification experience in finance or accounting.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN) with strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal control policies.
