Finance Manager

About the role

Daya is building a stablecoin‑powered financial engine for African businesses. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to design and scale the finance function that will support our next stage of growth. This fully remote role works closely with leadership, engineering, product and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process and produce multi‑currency management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and variance analysis.
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment rails and on‑chain stablecoin balances while ensuring IFRS compliance.
• Manage statutory tax filings (CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, pensions, NHF) and maintain a compliance calendar.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and build financial models for strategic planning.
• Administer the accounting system, drive AI‑based automation, and create dashboards for actionable insights.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to reduce manual processes and improve data quality.

Required profile

• ICAN or ACCA qualification with at least 3 years post‑qualification experience in accounting, finance or audit.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations.
• Experience handling multi‑currency accounting and financial reporting.
