About the role

Interswitch is seeking a senior leader to own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of its Temenos T24/Transact core banking platform. The role combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise to align the platform with the growth objectives of the Digital and Wholesale Banking divisions while ensuring high availability, security, and seamless product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Direct technical execution of T24 implementations, upgrades, and module rollouts from initiation to post‑go‑live.
• Define and govern the technical architecture for digital and wholesale banking solutions, ensuring scalability and security.
• Manage and mentor a team of developers, analysts, and system administrators.
• Partner with business units to translate complex financial products into clear technical specifications.
• Act as primary technical advisor to senior management, communicating risks and timelines in non‑technical terms.
• Coordinate with Temenos consultants and third‑party vendors to resolve critical bugs and product limitations.
• Oversee core customisation, API integrations, and module configuration for corporate lending, trade finance, treasury, and digital channels.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, performance tuning, and disaster‑recovery testing to guarantee business continuity.

Required profile

• Senior professional with extensive experience in core banking platforms, preferably Temenos T24/Transact.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale technology projects and mentor technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of liaising with both business units and senior executives.
• Experience in vendor management and coordinating external consultants.
