Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will be based on‑site in Port Harcourt and will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting to support strategic decisions across Sepha Energies Limited.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Manage accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare periodic management and statutory reports.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, coordinate audits and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse financial performance, track key metrics and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Supervise finance team members and support cross‑functional project teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Required profile

• Strong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting and preparation of management and statutory accounts.
• Experience with internal controls, audit coordination and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to use financial and ERP software, spreadsheets and data analysis tools.
• Effective leadership, team management and stakeholder communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CFA) is a plus.
• Experience in the energy or oilfield services sector, preferably upstream, is beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced environment.
