Finance Lead / Fractional CFO Consultant (Fundraising & Financial Strategy)

About the role

Lead iPayBTC's fundraising readiness by building investor‑grade financial infrastructure, models, valuation, materials and due‑diligence processes to secure equity, debt, grant or strategic investment opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the fundraising strategy, prepare investor‑ready 3‑5 year financial projections, build a fundraising model with scenario analysis, support investor targeting and outreach, participate in investor meetings and due‑diligence sessions, and assist management in negotiating investment terms.
• Create a monthly financial reporting framework, build operating budgets and cash‑flow forecasts, analyse unit economics and business performance, design management dashboards and KPI tracking, and monitor burn rate and runway.
• Prepare valuation models using the Venture Capital Method, comparable companies analysis, revenue multiples and discounted cash flow where applicable, and support valuation discussions with investors.
• Lead the preparation of a fundraising data room, organising and reviewing corporate documents, financial statements, cap table, product and customer metrics, regulatory documentation, commercial agreements and board resolutions.
• Create monthly investor update templates, design board reporting packs, and establish financial reporting processes for existing and future investors.
• Advise the CEO on capital allocation, evaluate debt versus equity financing options, assess strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities, and support long‑term business planning.
