Finance Expert – Remote

About the role

We are seeking Finance Experts to support a customer project focused on accounting operations, financial reporting, and ERP systems. You will evaluate and improve AI‑generated accounting outputs and contribute to AI training data.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate AI‑generated accounting outputs for accuracy, calculations, journal entries, and treatments.
• Review and annotate financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close workpapers.
• Identify accounting errors, misstatements, and inconsistencies, providing corrections with clear rationale.
• Assess accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365.
• Apply written rubrics to evaluate, rank, and grade AI‑generated responses.
• Create realistic accounting scenarios, examples, and reference answers for AI training.
• Provide actionable feedback to improve model performance and accounting accuracy.
• Support financial processes from transaction recording through month‑end close and reporting.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in financial accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management or cost accounting, or FP&A.
• Proven experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday or comparable systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Prior paid experience in AI training, data annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric‑based grading.
• Strong written and verbal English communication (B2 level or above).
• Ability to work independently, meet quality standards and deadlines, reliable internet connection, and immediate availability.
