About the role
A leading distributor of technology, services and lifestyle products in Sub-Saharan Africa is hiring a Finance Executive based in Lagos, Nigeria. The role reports to the Finance Manager and assists the Head, Finance & Accounts with finance and accounting duties.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards and metrics to measure business performance
- Analyse and interpret financial data to inform business decisions
- Carry out bank and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws and regulations
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in a similar position
- B.Sc/HND in Accounting or an ATS qualification, with ICAN/ANAN professional exams in progress
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience
Required skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Proficiency in MS Office Excel
- General knowledge of IT
