Finance Auditor I – Internal Audit (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Finance Auditor I to support internal audit activities at Habrams Energy Services in Lagos. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with internal controls, reviewing financial records and identifying opportunities to strengthen processes.

Key responsibilities

• Examine financial records, reports and operating procedures to verify compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Validate assets and liabilities through documentation review.
• Prepare audit working papers, document findings and assist in audit reporting.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal control systems and recommend improvements.
• Assist in reviewing company processes, operations and financial records.
• Collect, analyse and summarise audit findings for management.
• Support compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and auditing principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
