About the role
We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team at Vitachem Nigeria Limited. The role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements, profit & loss reports, and balance sheets.
- Reconcile daily sales receipts, POS transactions, bank statements, and cash flows.
- Track inventory purchases, conduct periodic stock audits, and calculate cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Manage accounts payable and receivable and maintain accurate ledger entries.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations (PAYE, VAT, WHT) and handle statutory remittances.
- Monitor operational expenses and implement cost‑control measures.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of a BSc degree.
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
