Field Sales Manager – 3W Spare Parts & Engine Oil

About the role

The company, a leading multinational trading and industrial solutions provider, is looking for a Field Sales Manager to lead spare parts and engine oil sales for 3‑wheel vehicles (Keke) across Ogun State and Eastern Nigeria. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager – Spare Parts, you will work directly in the field to expand the dealer network, increase retail off‑take and ensure genuine parts reach end customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual spare‑parts sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Drive secondary sales by collaborating with distributors, retailers, mechanics and sub‑stockists.
• Identify and open new towns, villages and untapped locations to expand network coverage.
• Promote optimal product mix, support liquidation of slow‑moving parts and implement commercial policies.
• Organise mechanic meets, retailer meetings, van campaigns and road‑shows to raise genuine‑parts awareness.
• Manage credit, collections and maintain healthy outstanding balances.
• Provide market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends and counterfeit parts.
• Maintain accurate daily visit plans, order capture and sales tracking through DMS/CRM.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years (48 months) of sales experience, preferably in spare‑parts or automotive distribution.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets in a field‑based role.
• Strong understanding of dealer, retailer and mechanic channel dynamics.
• Ability to travel extensively across the territory.

Required skills

• Experience with DMS and CRM systems for reporting and order management.
