Field Sales Agent

About the role

The Field Sales Agent will drive retail sales and expand market presence for Lafarge products across the assigned territory in Marina, Anambra. You will be responsible for acquiring new outlets, converting competitors, and ensuring product availability at retail locations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and fulfil orders across assigned territories to meet sales targets.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard new retail outlets to grow Lafarge’s market footprint.
• Convert retailers from competing brands and increase market share.
• Maintain 100% coverage of all assigned retail outlets through structured route planning.
• Follow up and close leads from field teams, prioritising proximity and conversion efficiency.
• Ensure continuous product availability and execute merchandising standards for optimal visibility.
• Support field operations and deliver on tasks aligned with business objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum OND in any discipline; FMCG or building‑materials experience is an advantage.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, retail execution, or field operations.
• Strong understanding of the local market terrain within the assigned locations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a target‑driven, fast‑paced environment with high discipline and professionalism.
