Female Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will develop, review and update financial policies, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure accurate accounting records in line with the company's objectives and Nigerian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial and accounting policies, procedures and strategies.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and budget review processes.
• Analyse financial data and translate performance into actionable information for management.
• Maintain accurate double‑entry accounting records and ensure timely posting of transactions.
• Oversee inventory accounting, reconcile inventory movements and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform costing analysis, manage petty cash and monitor payroll calculations.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax, pension and statutory obligations and coordinate remittances.
• Prepare financial reports, management accounts and cash‑flow statements for senior management.

Required profile

• First degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Full membership of ICAN or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
• 3‑5 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting, statutory compliance and payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Nigeria Tax Act 2025, Pension Reform Act and NDPA 2023.
• Experience in retail, consumer goods or multi‑branch environments.

Required skills

• Sage accounting software.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• SAP or comparable integrated business management platforms.
• Letters of Credit and import finance processes.
