Factory Manager – Production & Quality Lead

About the role

The Factory Manager will lead daily production activities across our facilities in Lagos and Ogun State, ensuring that output meets delivery schedules, quality standards, and cost targets. This senior role combines operational oversight, team leadership, and continuous improvement to drive manufacturing excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production to achieve targets while optimizing machinery, manpower, and material usage.
• Implement process‑improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
• Maintain high‑quality output by working closely with the quality control team and addressing defects promptly.
• Lead, train, and develop production staff, fostering a collaborative and safety‑focused work environment.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, preventive programs, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage factory budgets, control costs, and optimize inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international manufacturing and labor regulations.
• Prepare regular performance reports and liaise with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• HND or BSc degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control systems, and safety protocols.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with production planning software and related tools.
