Factory Manager

About the role

The Factory Manager will lead all production activities across our facilities in Lagos and Ogun State, ensuring that output meets schedule, quality, and cost targets. This senior position requires strategic oversight of manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and workforce performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily production to achieve delivery deadlines.
• Optimize use of machinery, manpower and materials while reducing waste.
• Maintain high-quality standards and work with the quality team to resolve defects.
• Lead, train and develop production supervisors and operators.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and implement preventive programmes.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental regulations, conduct audits and incident investigations.
• Manage factory budgets, control costs, and optimise inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with local, national and international manufacturing regulations and prepare performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in Engineering, Industrial Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven ability to drive production efficiency, quality improvement and cost reduction.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with production planning software and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control systems.
• Understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
