About the role
The Facility Manager will oversee the maintenance and operation of the estate in Enugu, ensuring a safe and well‑functioning environment for residents and tenants.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate routine, preventive and emergency repairs for roads, drainage, water supply, and generators.
- Supervise external vendors such as waste management, landscaping and technical service providers.
- Manage security personnel and systems to maintain a secure living environment.
- Administer billing, collection and budgeting of service charges and utility bills.
- Serve as the primary contact for residents, handling complaints and queries promptly.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental, health, safety and building regulations.
Required profile
- HND in Estate Management, Facilities Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4 years (48 months) experience managing residential estates or commercial properties.
- Professional membership with NIESV or IFMA is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, conflict‑resolution and vendor‑negotiation abilities.
Required skills
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Proficiency with facility management software tools.
- Advanced use of MS Office applications.
