Facility Manager

About the role

The Facility Manager will oversee the maintenance and operation of the estate in Enugu, ensuring a safe and well‑functioning environment for residents and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate routine, preventive and emergency repairs for roads, drainage, water supply, and generators.
• Supervise external vendors such as waste management, landscaping and technical service providers.
• Manage security personnel and systems to maintain a secure living environment.
• Administer billing, collection and budgeting of service charges and utility bills.
• Serve as the primary contact for residents, handling complaints and queries promptly.
• Ensure compliance with local environmental, health, safety and building regulations.

Required profile

• HND in Estate Management, Facilities Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years (48 months) experience managing residential estates or commercial properties.
• Professional membership with NIESV or IFMA is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict‑resolution and vendor‑negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Proficiency with facility management software tools.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
