Experienced Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Engineer

About the role

FOMEX MEP Contractors Limited is seeking seasoned Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Engineers to lead the execution and management of its current and upcoming projects across Nigeria. The role involves overseeing site activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring project milestones are met on time and within quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the on‑site execution of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works for various construction projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and client representatives to align schedules and deliverables.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Prepare and review project documentation, reports and as‑built records.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to keep projects on track.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering or construction.
• Proven track record in site execution and project coordination.
• Background with reputable construction or MEP firms.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• CoreN certification (if applicable) and strong technical and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Technical proficiency in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
