Engineering Manager – Site Reliability

About the role

As an Engineering Manager you will lead the Site Reliability Engineering tooling team, ensuring that product requirements are turned into actionable EPICs and technical stories. You will coordinate with product managers, engineers, QA and UX to deliver high‑quality features on schedule while maintaining strong technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery and execution for the SRE tooling team, translating requirements into EPICs, stories and tasks.
• Plan and run sprints, set timelines, track milestones and manage dependencies across stakeholders.
• Maintain monitoring, observability and SLIs/SLOs for all owned services.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce design patterns and ensure high‑quality code.
• Publish post‑deployment metrics and provide transparent reporting to product managers.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to improve team velocity and manage complex project delivery.

Required skills

• Node.js and Python development.
• Backend engineering and API design.
• CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration.
• Monitoring, observability and SLI/SLO management.
• Agile methodologies, sprint planning and backlog management.
