Engineer – ELV, Electrical & Solar Systems

About the role

Code Green Systems LTD is looking for an Engineer to support the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of integrated ELV, electrical and solar power solutions across commercial, industrial and residential projects in Lagos. The role is full‑time and on‑site, with occasional travel to client locations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical site surveys and feasibility assessments.
• Prepare system designs, single‑line diagrams, layouts and technical documentation.
• Install, configure, commission and troubleshoot solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage, ELV and network infrastructure.
• Perform testing, commissioning and performance verification of installed systems.
• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of power and security installations.
• Diagnose hardware, software, electrical and communication faults across integrated systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and training to clients after project completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Support project planning, material estimation and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering principles.
• Practical experience with solar PV systems and battery storage.
• Ability to produce system designs and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work on‑site in Lagos.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience (junior level).
