Telecommunications Engineer & Rigger (Contract)

About the role

Support telecommunications, wireless, fibre, networking, and infrastructure deployment projects across Nigeria, based on‑site in Enugu with nationwide travel.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including GPON/FTTH and microwave radio links.
• Perform fibre optic installation, splicing, OTDR testing and troubleshoot network faults.
• Carry out tower climbing, install and align antennas, RRUs, microwave dishes and other tower‑mounted equipment.
• Conduct site surveys, prepare technical reports and support project commissioning and handover.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel nationwide and work rotating shifts on‑site in Enugu and other locations.
• Possession of relevant certifications such as Working at Height, HSE, First Aid, CCNA, HCIA/HCIP or NSE is advantageous.
