About the role
We are looking for a proactive Electrical Engineer to manage the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation of electrical systems in our energy operations facility. The role ensures equipment reliability, operational efficiency and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, transformers, switchgear and industrial equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure reliability.
- Monitor and optimise power distribution and electrical infrastructure.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
- Support plant commissioning, upgrades and improvement projects while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, power, energy or oil & gas operations.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, motors, transformers, drives and switchgear.
- Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, instrumentation or industrial automation.
- Professional certification such as COREN or NSE is an advantage.
