Associate Machine Operator

About the role

The Associate Machine Operator supports production of medical devices by operating and maintaining specialized equipment such as ovens, robots, and pressure pots. The role ensures compliance with customer specifications, ISO standards, and internal safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment (ovens, robot, pressure pots) according to work instructions and specifications.
• Notify supervisors of numerical control programming issues and assist engineering with preventive maintenance.
• Perform changeovers, clean robot consumables, and prepare coating mixtures to required viscosity.
• Maintain clean work areas, cover and tape equipment surfaces, and inspect masking for defects.
• Support assembly/disassembly of medical cables and perform touch‑up tasks as directed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in the medical industry.
• Completed secondary education.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in Spanish and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment.

Required skills

• Robot operation and maintenance.
• Coating preparation and viscosity control.
• Use of ERP systems for process sheets and color codes.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 compliance.
• Preventive maintenance of production equipment.
