About the role
The Earth-Moving Equipment Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy earth‑moving machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime on site.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on piling rigs, mining dump trucks, excavators, and dozers.
- Diagnose and repair electrical circuits, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components.
- Lead and supervise a maintenance team to complete tasks independently and on schedule.
- Coordinate with site management to minimise equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum OND qualification (special application available for skilled candidates).
- At least 5 years of experience with heavy earth‑moving equipment.
- Strong knowledge of circuits, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Proven ability to lead a team and work independently.
- Preferably male, aged 23–40.
